This independent agency works with incredibly meaty, often global clients, but it remains smaller and independent, and is looking for a world-class design director from the corporate branding agency world.

They're well established, with some enviable global-name clients under their belt, they aren't part of a group and so are masters of their own destiny, AND they're based in central London too.

The design team is not large, but is growing, hence the need for a design director (someone already at this level) to help the creative director with leading projects, meeting/presenting to clients, and helping to nurture the less senior designers on the team too.

You'll work alongside strategy people, so it's important that you've done so before in other branding agencies, and of course they have client services support.

So if you've come from a "big corporate/service branding" background with one or two of the top 5 branding agencies, but you're craving a rather smaller team, somewhere more personal, and one where you can get closer to clients and to your colleagues, this is the one!

In terms of what the agency is looking for - of course number one is talent in the core branding design space; but also someone who is pretty down to earth, keeps a calm head, who enjoys the interaction with clients, and who enjoys working with less experienced designers, helping them to excel.

Essential skills:

Big and meaty corporate branding expertise
Already at design director level, so project team leading, client facing
Still happy to design as well as leading
