What you'll be doing
As our Digital Designer working as part of our brilliant User Experience and Design Team you will support a range of products across the Which? digital estate, examples of which include Which? Money https://www.which.co.uk/money, Which? Elderly Care https://www.which.co.uk/elderly-care and Which? Birthchoice, https://www.which.co.uk/birth-choice.
Working collaboratively, and alongside a cross-functional team you will take a user-centred design approach to address complex design problems and provide sound, creative solutions. You’ll devise compelling ideas, ideate possibilities and create concepts and designs at different levels of fidelity.
The Design Team have an ambitious agenda, and as an integral member of the team, you will help establish a consistent approach to design across Which? continually driving improvements and encouraging design innovations. This will include creating a Design System and helping evolve our new illustrative design approach that is core to our brand.
What we'll need from you
It goes without saying you will be passionate about digital design. You'll feel comfortable working across the whole product lifecycle, from conception through to completion, to achieve clean, elegant designs taking an agile approach to your work.
As a highly collaborative individual you’ll contribute your ideas and expertise so that the team are able to provide optimal solutions, and we’ll expect you to be curious and eager to try new approaches.
Needless to say you’ll have proven design skills and will have prior experience working in a commercial setting,demonstrating an ability to translate business problems into elegant visual solutions.
From a technical perspective, we’ll need you to have advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop), Sketch and a knowledge of other leading design development and presentation tools (eg Indesign, Keynote etc).
