Our client is a progressive and developing boutique integrated agency specialising in healthcare and healthy lifestyle industry. They are looking for a HANDS ON Creative Director looking to lead and inspire and continue to drive their creative output. 

This could suit a Snr Art Director with aspirations and desire to become a Creative director very soon as well as someone already in a similar role.  For now, this is a 100% hands on role covering the following:- big idea generation, client facing liaison and presentation, design using the typical Adobe suite, management of team members, knowledge of multi-channel marketing, passion for innovation – all wrapped up with a fun sense of slightly warped humour. The work is varied, which means the ideal candidate needs to be too.

• Role detail

This role requires proven solid experience in senior artistic direction and design production and a proven background and design career.  The candidate needs to be passionate about design, a team player, organised, hardworking, and efficient, and has an inspiring creative vision with above average communication skills.

Work collaboratively across internal teams in the execution of briefs to produce creative/design solutions within allocated timeframes.

 

Being a highly organised individual, you will thrive within the organisation, look to add value at every turn and raise the overall creative output.

 

Ability to challenge internal teams when appropriate, in order to push the creative offering to a new level.

 

You are a natural problem solver, capable of producing work that expresses a broad range of typography, design and art direction across any channel.

 

Create outstanding original work supported by a strong rationale.

 

Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to.

 

Take creative responsibility for ALL creative projects from initial brief through to the finished product.

 

To respond productively to changing deadlines and priorities.

 

Knowledge

Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite and Apple hardware.

 

Design eye and attention to detail are a necessity.

 

A great understanding of web and digital implementation.

 

A good understanding of print formats and processes.

 

Demonstrate a passion for new technologies and techniques.

 

Burger & pie knowledge an advantage.

 

Finance

- Keeping track of time spent on projects.

 

- Ensuring that work comes within pre-agreed timeframes.

 

Client Facing

- To attend client meetings when required.
